This breakfast served as a great energizer for 2013! Hopefully everyone left ready (and excited) to conquer something new or reinvigorate some of what they had done in 2012.
Rich Brooks of flyte new media started things off by telling us about the brand new adventure he’s embarking on in 2013 – launching a new brand. Of note was Rich’s plan to build an audience for his brand spankin’ new brand from the ground up: Offer something of real value, like a free one-hour marketing consult. Rich talked about how he plans to do just that – in order for people to be eligible to win free consults, they will need to subscribe to his new email newsletter. He also shared some other great nuggets for ways that he plans to generate blog content and build social interest.
As mobile device use increases, so will the importance of local search and local SEO. Nathan O’Leary of Mainely SEO gave us a great crash course in tackling local search in 2013. He also shared some really great tools and insights which are included in his presentation below:
Mainely SEO, Hall Internet Marketing, The Cohen-Tracy Team, GWI, Others! Fair Trade Coffee and The Internet Educator.
