SMBME 19 – Email Marketing

Email marketing is one of the most powerful and measurable tools businesses have to market themselves. In this informative breakfast we had our local email expert and a B2B and B2C case studies. Email is one of those things that works for just about every industry.

We started the Morning with Corissa St. Laurent from Constant Contact. She talked to us about building lasting relationships with your customers. Corissa came with lots of experience and gave us a great presentation and lots of good ideas for connecting with our existing and potential customers better.

Next up in the morning line up was Jim Chadbourne from Rubb Buildings. They have been using email marketing for years to educate their customers and fans about new projects and upcoming events. Jim was a great example of how a B2B company can use email marketing to better connect and share content with their audience.

Our last presenter of the day was Andrea Gillman. She is the woman behind Catch a Piece of Maine marketing efforts. We have been trying to wrangle her up for months now but she is a very busy lady. She talked to us about how she gathers content for her email marketing. She uses a mixture of recipes, storytelling, humor and specials to connect with her readers. We reviewed a few of her newsletters the morning of the breakfast. To view archives of her newsletters look here.
