Social Media Breakfast Maine is an opportunity. Whether you are a:

  • business owner trying to add social media to your marketing/PR mix
  • a digital marketing expert
  • a digital marketing newbie
  • person who wants to come to learn
  • person who wants to come to teach
  • person who really likes breakfast

Once a month we get together to share experiences, stories and learn from each other on a variety of different topics in and around the social media sphere. This is a comfortable community event. No egos here.

Social media, new media, interactive media – whatever you would like to call it – is constantly evolving. There are few true experts out there since it is developing so quickly. What we hope to do with these breakfasts is connect local businesses, showcase what our neighbors are doing, talk about what is working and what is not, invite local and regional experts to teach and inspire us, and show that Maine is a great state to do business.

Amanda O’Brien has been working in the digital marketing field for over a decade. She loves helping businesses grow using their websites, creating content, and advertising online. She also owns a winery, eighteen twenty wines, making wine from Maine-grown rhubarb.

Jess Wallace
jess-wallaceJess is the Digital Marketing Director at Vreeland Marketing & Design. She has been working in (and playing with) social and digital media since Facebook and Twitter first came on the scene as marketing channels. Jess attended her first Social Media Breakfast Maine back in 2011, got hooked on the community that shared her passion and inspired her, and has been eating her fair share of bacon ever since. She will tell you she has a slight case of “shiny object syndrome,” so the constantly evolving world of social media is her happy place and she can’t get enough.
